Empowering Youth and Women in Agribusiness

Objective

The Ondo Youth and Women Agribusiness Network Ltd/Gte will facilitate the following, among others:

  1. Primary production and processing of value chains of comparative advantage in Ondo: food crops, tree crops, forest trees, livestock and aquaculture;
  2. Mechanization services and agro-input distribution: seeds, seedlings, fertiliser, agrochemicals etc;
  3. Access to finance, financial inclusion and linkage to market opportunities;
  4. Climate-smart agriculture, regenerative agriculture and other eco-friendly agricultural practices and activities to improve the productivity of crop and livestock value chains;
  5. Job creation and skill acquisition activities for youths and women across the value chains of agriculture.

About Us

Organisation
The Ondo Youth and Women Agribusiness Network Ltd/Gte (Ondo Agribusiness) is a social enterprise (RC 8561984) established to create impactful programmes that scale up opportunities for youth and women in agribusiness through engagement with diverse stakeholders in public institutions, private sectors, development agencies, and civil societies.

The goal of Ondo Agribusiness is to promote the prosperity of youth, women and other value chain players through collaboration, technology-driven solutions, access to finance, linkage to market, and policy advocacy.

To be a leading platform empowering youth and women in Ondo State to drive sustainable, inclusive, and market-oriented agribusiness transformation for economic growth, food security, and climate resilience.

To build the capacity of youth and women in Ondo State through inclusive training, innovative agribusiness solutions, and strategic partnerships that foster economic independence, gender equity, and environmentally sustainable practices across agricultural value chains.
